WHAT I STAND FOR

Gaining awareness of who you are, and how your feelings, conscious and unconscious beliefs connect to your autonomic nervous system can lead to insight, compassion and ultimately, healing. So, how do we come to understand ourselves?

At Living Neuro, I offer client-led, compassionate support, blending ancient wisdom, contemporary neuroscience, parts work and somatic practices. Together, we explore what is unconscious to reconnect with the deep wisdom within. Life can leave us feeling disconnected, but with careful listening and feeling practices, I help people navigate challenges and rediscover their path.

For over a decade, I’ve worked in private practice as well as diverse settings, including NGOs, government, and corporate wellness. In that time, I’ve had the immense privilege to walk alongside survivors of complex and developmental trauma, carers, the bereaved, and those facing end-of-life transitions. From psychiatric wards to palliative care, my passion is how we can move through liminal spaces. How do we live and embrace 'process', as uncomfortable as it is. My practice is deeply relational - it integrates creative therapies and parts work to facilitate recovery.

My own healing journey—through psychotherapy, health challenges, ongoing personal enquiry and study - I understand firsthand, the complexities of trauma. This lived experience fuels my belief in the power of the human spirit to reclaim our true soul's purpose.

Many are surprised to learn, my career as a counsellor began with an architecture degree.

In fact, I taught for several years, all the while observing how my students' design work reflected their own personalities and relational styles—
their inner worlds.

I was drawn to know more about how they appeared 'mapped' in their work and how they unconsciously expressed themselves in profound and honest ways.

This led to the question: how does truth find expression in our lives? How does it surface in our dreams, relationships, art, and health?

This curiosity led me to pursue a Master's in Art Therapy, where the visceral, real-world experience of the counselling coursework quickly showed me the kind of therapist I wanted to be.

A lifelong interest in the symbolic world married beautifully with my studies in counselling.

The path to true selfhood can have many obstacles.
